Quick Verdict

Oxley Towers sells a name. It is the world’s first SO/ Sofitel branded residence, freehold, on Jalan Ampang, completed in 2025, by a Singapore-listed developer. Its plaza opens straight into the 50-acre KLCC Park.

Buy it if you want the newest branded address in KLCC and you will pay for the brand. Skip it if price per square foot matters more to you than the name — Ascott Star Residences is the KLCC alternative without the brand premium.

Facilities

Rental Picture

Two-bedroom units have been listed for rent at roughly RM8,000 to RM15,000 a month. Treat those as asking rents from current listings. They show the demand at the top of KLCC; they are not a yield promise.

What We Like

Brand that travels. A world-first SO/ Sofitel residence is a name buyers and tenants recognise without explanation.

Freehold on Jalan Ampang. One of the last freehold residential sites in the KLCC precinct.

Completed and handed over. No construction risk; inspect the actual unit.

KLCC Park on the doorstep. The plaza connects straight into the park.

What Concerns Us

You pay for the name. From RM2,300 psf, and prime floors and views run much higher.

Brand-new building. Handover began in late 2025, so resale and rental history is still short.

Hotel status. Check the current opening status of the hotels in the development with me before you rely on hotel services.

Who Should Buy This?

Branded-luxury buyers who want the newest name in KLCC. Singapore buyers who already know Oxley. Investors aiming at the top of the KLCC rental market. Cash or loan both work here.

Both sit in Oxley Towers KLCC on the same freehold site. SO/ Kuala Lumpur Residences is the world's first SO/ Sofitel branded residence — 590 homes in the 78-storey tower shared with the SO/ hotel. Jewel by Oxley is the smaller tower: 267 semi-furnished homes over 49 storeys, with De Dietrich and Villeroy & Boch fittings, from one-bedrooms to three-bedroom and dual-key layouts. Choose SO/ for the brand; choose Jewel for a more exclusive building you can finish your way.

Is Oxley Towers KLCC completed?

Yes. Construction is fully completed; the development received its Certificate of Completion and Compliance on 25 July 2025, with handover to buyers from September 2025.

How much do SO/ and Jewel units cost?

From about RM2,300 psf. Price varies with tower, floor, size and whether the unit faces KLCC Park or the Twin Towers, so ask for the units that match your budget.

What do units rent for?

Two-bedroom units have been listed for rent at roughly RM8,000 to RM15,000 a month. Those are asking rents from listings, not achieved rents or a promised yield.

Yes, for units at or above Kuala Lumpur's RM1 million foreign-ownership threshold, which covers the units in these towers. It is freehold, and the developer is Singapore-listed.
